About

Hi, I’m Sarah, welcome to my blog 🙂

I’m a 26 year old, blue-haired, non-hipster, tea-loving, mum-of-two living in London.
This is where you’ll find my ramblings and observations of my day-to-day life and the world around me.
Sometimes I talk about my personal life, and sometimes I talk about the things that interest me in my area of work.
Most of the time I just talk too much. That’s where the ‘superfluous’ bit comes in.

Family Life

I’m a mum to two amazing little creatures called Xander (4) and Piper (almost 3). Xander has special needs but that doesn’t make him any less awesome. Piper is as feisty as they come – she takes after her mum. My man (Mr P) is tall, dark and handsome Polish. The newest addition to our family is Freddy the cat. He’s huge and he’s ginger. The children are convinced that his real name is Garfield.
Our family life is one big learning curve, just when I think I’ve got it figured out something comes along and kicks me in the ass and reminds me that we’re never really in control – we’ve just gotta go with the flow!

Work Life

For many years I worked in the music biz and had a LOT of fun. Now I’m all grown up and work as a community manager/monkey at a PR firm. Its still loads of fun and I count myself lucky that I get paid to do something I love.

Everything Inbetween

Other stuff I Love: Music. Live music. Books. Old Books. Tea. The Rain. Cooking. Baking. Writing. Traveling. Columbo. Supernatural and spooky stuff. Fancy cooking oils. JD & Coke. Rainbows. Ducks. Cats. Noms. Vegetarian noms. Vegan noms. Lulz. Body Mods. Open minds. Individuality. Good Times.

Expect various blogs on all of the above.
